FurePET ("we," "us," or "our") is a mobile application operated by FurePET LLC. We built FurePET to help pet owners manage their pets' health information in one place. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Apple, we receive the information you authorize Apple to share (which may include your email address or a private relay address).
Pet information: You may enter details about your pets, including name, breed, species, date of birth, weight, and medical records. This information is stored to provide the app's core functionality.
Village contacts: You may add veterinarian and emergency contact information. This data is stored in your account and is not shared.
Medical documents: You may upload medical documents such as vaccination records and lab results. These files are stored securely in our cloud infrastructure.
Subscription and payment data: If you subscribe to FurePET Premium, payment is processed by Apple (via in-app purchase) or Stripe (for web subscriptions). We do not store your credit card number. We receive confirmation of your subscription status to unlock premium features.
Usage data: We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data such as which features are accessed and general app performance metrics. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

Your data is stored using Supabase, a cloud database platform with enterprise-grade security including encryption at rest and in transit, row-level security policies, and secure authentication. We follow industry-standard practices to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them. We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
We retain your account data and pet records for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and pet records from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.

FurePET is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of FurePET after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
